Ovidiu Panighianţ graduated from the Academy of Arts, Faculty of Fine Arts in Bucharest, graphic specialization. He has worked as an illustrator, graphic designer and artistic director in several publications in Romania, such as the National Library of Romania, the magazines led by Mircea Dinescu, the magazine Musical Report and the TimesNewRoman website. Many of the albums edited by Soft Records have as their emblem the graphics imagined by Ovidiu Panighianţ.
His works have been selected and presented at collective and individual exhibitions in Romania and abroad. As personal exhibitions in the galleries of the Union of Fine Artists, we mention those from Târgu Mureş, “Orizont” from Bucharest and Alba Iulia. On April 21st was the opening of the most recent personal exhibition of the artist Ovidiu Panighianţ, which took place in Cluj Napoca from April 21 to May 28, 2017.
