Expressive, informal painting inspires, invites the mind to reflect and touches the soul. Thoughts and emotions are communicated here in a way that is not accessible to language. A picture is worth a thousand words. Especially in its abstract representation.

When I paint, I process personal thoughts and emotions. Sometimes these have to do with current social or political issues. The canvas becomes a place for the creation of new, unique, subjective realities that touch me emotionally and mentally. If this also happens to other viewers, the painted picture becomes art and is able to make the world a little better. That is my conviction and motivation as an artist.

Art has the power to make the world a little better.

I started painting about 25 years ago as an autodidact, since then I have completed numerous artistic training courses and taken part in several exhibitions.

I was born in Düsseldorf in 1969. I have lived in Cologne since 1972.
