I have been doing photography for over 25 years. There were long breaks at one time, but I always returned to photography.12 years ago it finally became my profession. It was that time that I moved to live on the island of Mauritius, where I still spend most of my life. I remember how I was amazed by its beauty and atmosphere when I first came to the island. It became my love for the rest of the life. Here I meet the sunrise in the ocean in the company of whales and dolphins, go to the mountains, discover the waterfalls hidden from the eyes of tourists, return to the coast on the surf in complete darkness, guided only by the lights of hotels.
Here I feel truly free. And here I am doing my favorite thing - photography. Certainly I don't spend all my time only in Mauritius. It is very difficult to live on a small island for the years without getting out. My family and I usually spend the summer in Russia, where I also take pictures a lot. In Russia we live in the south of the country, and here my life is also closely connected with the sea and the mountains. Besides that, I take a lot of pictures of surfing.
