Oksana Begma

I was born in the painters’ family with strong artistic traditions and got profound art education. In my art I use a broad range of techniques: oil painting on canvas, watercolor, paper, acrylic, ceramics. Being a passionate personality, I easily fall for new topics, so in various periods my themes have been: cityscapes, travel, sketches, ballet, symbolism, philosophical meditations, genre compositions. My focus is the everyday life reinterpreted from the perspective of eternity. The models of my paintings are real personalities from the present moment or dear streets and corners of Rostov.
I’m in love with my work and I put my heart into each painting. I hope that the future owners will feel this positive energy.
I use only high quality oil paints and materials. The finished paintings are varnished to protect from dust and direct sunlight. All artworks are securely packed in cardboards or wooden crates with foam bord and corner protectors. Each painting is unique. I believe that it’s impossible to create two absolutely identical artworks, as every moment of life you are a different person, creating something new and more beautiful. Beside my art, I'm also involved in cultural heritage projects in my hometown Rostov.
