Ola Winnicka

I am a Polish artist who graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Poznan.
My paintings embody an intuitive journey through different levels of experience. Sometimes I reach inward to follow the magic and symbolism of dreams. Sometimes I explore outward spaces: pop culture, feminist movements and the psychology of the human condition. Yet my greatest drive comes from thinking about humanity’s place within the enormous beauty of nature, its landscape and animals.
I work with oil paintings. Their deep, bright colours fascinate me as I search for the perfect light and embrace the potential of each moment. For in each impression of the air lies the phenomenon of the universe that stretches beyond our planet.
