Olga Noronha

Olga Noronha was born in Porto in 1990. She lives in Portugal and works between London, Portugal and Italy.

At the age of 11 took her first steps in contemporary jewellery, attending Engenho & Arte school, and after completing secondary education at Soares dos Reis school, went to London.
At the age of 17, at Central Saint Martins College of Art & Design, Noronha started by a Foundation Course in Art & Design, being her ("Dirty Tissues" ®) project considered the best of the 21 years of the course and thus acquired by the University of London for its private collection along with Hussein Chalayan, Alexander McQueen’s and others.
Graduated in Jewellery Design by the same college in 2011, Noronha was then titled Researcher at CITAD (Centre for Investigation in Territory, Architecture and Design - Foundation for Science and Technology - FCT). This same year Noronha was invited to teach at Central Saint Martins College of Art & Design and to lecture at Whintrop University (USA) and ESAD (Pt).
In 2012, completed a Masters degree In Design Research (MRes) at Goldsmiths College, University of London, and was awarded the Doctoral Merit Scholarship - Design Star Consortium - Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC).
