Olga Mendenhall

Olga Mendenhall is an artist and illustrator currently based in Pittsburgh, PA. Originally from St. Petersburg, Russia, Olga moved to the USA in 2011. Since childhood, she's been surrounded by art and artists. She grew up in a family of artists, and her playground was their art studio in abandoned old house in downtown St. Petersburg, Russia. That's how it all started.

She earned her MFA in Graphic Arts and Illustration from Saint-Petersburg State University of Design and Technology in Russia. Before she settled down in Pittsburgh, she lived in Colorado and Rhode Island.

She has a passion for traditional and digital illustrations, logotypes and corporate identity, print design, as well as creating unique solutions for various marketing strategies. She strives for a clean and efficient design, thoughtful use of the color and its influence, and coherent utilization of art and design styles to convey visual message.

Olga’s favorite art subjects are urban landscapes, and people and pet portraits. She is currently working on the series of Pittsburgh landscapes, inspired by beauty and diversity of the city, her new home. It reminds her hometown St. Petersburg.
