Oliver Raymond

Originality that entertains is what I am striving for. I tend to favour bold enriched colours with clean lines to help give my paintings a vibrant bold aesthetic that might brighten up a room, or stir the viewers thoughts. I like to think there is a deeper meaning to things which leads me to enjoy concealing tiny details that help enhance the narrative of the painting or add to the overall implied meaning. Style wise I would categorise my works as a mixture of pop art, futurism and surrealism. Ultimately though my aim through art, is to captivate you for a moment or two, stimulate your imagination and put a big smile on your face.
