Olivia Hart-Hughes

Born in South Africa and currently living in France. I originally trained as an interior designer but changed tracks later in life when I was seduced by oil paint. I am fascinated by the emotional bonds that we have with decorative objects and interior spaces, becoming elevated when we capture these on film or art.

I am self taught and work mainly in oil, influenced by the Dutch masters and contemporary Realist movement.
