Padmacandra Meek

Greetings, I am an illustrator and artist with a special interest in folk art, folk music, and fairytales.

I live in a village in West Norfolk between the Brecks and the Fens. I am an ordained Buddhist with the Triratna Community.

In 2019 I graduated with distinction from the Cambridge School of Art, Children's Book Illustration MA.

In March 2021 I signed a two book deal with Scallywag Press, & my first picture book as illustrator (The Tale of the Whale by Karen Swan) came out in March 2021, and I am presently working on the second.

During the pandemic, I have experimented widely and have just begun to sell original works (firstly simply because there was an interest and people asked).

I particualrly love working with wax and oil crayons, as well as experimenting with monoprint textures.
