Soumen Das

I am a Professional Artist & Art Teacher, currently residing in Barasat, Kolkata. I did my Master’s Degree in Fine Arts (Chitra Bhaskar) from Pracheen Kala Kendra, Chandigarh. I also used to participate in various painting exhibitions & awarded with 'Shilpi Samman' from Barasat Municipality & Roddur Group. Besides painting, I have done training in Modelling from National Institute of Fashion Technology & Mr. Siben Das, Taratala. Ramp walk training from Aman Institute, Kolkata & a special training on Film Making from Director Partha Sarathi Joardar. I mainly create paintings on real-life story in Acrylic Colour Medium. Recently I have created the the cover page of the book named “The Chaos of the Swooshing Winds” authored by Sonali Chanda & worked as a contributing artist in a story book named “The Path We Follow”, authored by Greg Deinzer of California, USA.
