where memories come from...
A Bahian residing in Rio de Janeiro, the visual artist mixes elements from the past with the present. Always looking in his memories, a reference for his visual creations.
His works play with the relationship of time and space, based on existential minimalism.
His relationship with the Visual Arts was born from the Performing Arts, an area in which the artist worked for nearly 10 years, creating sets and visual identity for shows, such as: Caixa de Areia, by Jô Bilac (SP), 9dias! (RJ), Werther Effect (BA) The Little Mermaid Boy (RJ), Admirable Bossa Nova (RJ), among others.
From this contact, Pamponet started to investigate even more the universe of Plastic Arts, going through artistic immersions in New York City and Mexico City, places where the artist developed a more urban look - a striking presence in his current works.
