Paola Romano

Painter, sculptor and designer.

Paola Romano was born in Monterotondo (Rome) on September 7th 1951.
She studied in Rome, where she lives and works until 2011.
In 2012 she opens a fascinating workshop-showroom in the ancient village of his hometown. After completing her studies at Rome Academy of Fine Arts, in 2000 she begins a kind of informal painting dominate by the use of matter. We are facing the birth of a nwe Paola Romano’s identity, both artistic and personal.
Her works will be found, since the beginning of production, in prestigious art collections, both public and private.
Among her most famous works, the “Moon” series stands out, which dominated the sky in Via Margutta in Rome, the “Planimetries” series, the “Plastic” series, the “Zoom” series, the series of fresco works, the highly appreciated bronze sculptures and the “Monochromes” series.
Paola Roano is affirming herself in the Italian and international artistic panorama.It is possible to admire Paola Romano’s works, just to name a few, in the permanent exhibitions of the Magna Carta Foundation in Rome, as well as in the Urban Rooms in the Vatican City.
