Patricia Deleon

Patricia DeLeon is a fine artist who focuses on human and natural forms as the primary subject within her work. Born in Caracas, Venezuela.
Working intuitively with oils, acrylics, graphite and gold leaf, DeLeon creates multi-media works which fuse the acts of painting and drawing. Over time the work's multi-layered surface suggests a sense of an illuminated space. With lyrical scrawls, deep scratches and patterned mark making, her work delves into how the visible and invisible—the material and spiritual—intertwine in human experience.
