Paul Ray

Born on Nov. 9, 1981 in Boston, Massachusetts, USA.A fine artist specialized in Neo-expressionist style oil painting.My inspiration comes from old impressionists and old master painters. I always paint with a vision and not concentrate on logic and reason.. like doing g real still life, seascape and historical landscapes from nature.

A resident of Rockland Massachusetts Paul Graduated from Rockland High School in 2000. Since childhood he was limited to expressive language and communication. However looking at his talent & visual strength and a sincere advice from his school principal, parent encouraged him to enroll in Massasoit Community College, Canton, MASS. Paul studied Graphic Design & then Fine Arts for 4 years. Naturally inclined towards Fine Arts, he is diligently working towards his goal. Since then he has worked on a number of interesting oil paintings, self-portrait, sketches, pastel drawings, charcoal, pen & ink, scratchboard art, 3-D design and sculptures. During the summer time Paul takes his easel and painting materials outdoor with his parents & try to paint a piece or two from the nature as time permits. In 1998 and 1999 his oil paintings were displayed in Quincy Fall Art Festival. In 2001 he participated in the International Conference/Art Exhibition at Paul Tsongas Arena, Lowell, MA. In June 2003 Paul did exhibit his paintings in the popular " Art in the Rotunda" series of Rockland Memorial Library.
