Pauline Dalby

I am a full-time artist mainly painting in oils and acrylics.

Previously I worked for many years as a journalist and a photo-journalist. In the later years of my career in journalism my field of expertise was in politics, from municipal politics through regional to coverage of the Ontario Legislature. Other areas I specialized in were health, the environment and travel.

I was also a newspaper photographer, and later worked on the books "A Day in the Life of Canada" and "A Day in the Life of Japan", serving as associate director of photography and assignment editor.

Educated in England up to the secondary graduation level.

University of Toronto, Canadian Studies.

Ryerson University, Bachelor of Applied Arts, Journalism.

Diplomate of the three-year Art Program at The Art Center, Central Technical School,Toronto.

Studies through continuing education include: The Art Gallery of Ontario, The Toronto School of Art, and the Toronto District School Board Continuing Education Program.

I have shown painting, photography, sculpture and medal work in the the exhibitions listed below. My work is held in private collections in Canada, England and Germany.
