Paul Ivanushka

As a result of a trip to the Grand Canyon and inspired by the canyon photographs of the Kolb Brothers, Paul developed his first roll of film when he was ten years old. Paul was fascinated that with a camera he could reach out and capture and preserve moments of time and be able to share what he saw in that moment of time.

Paul was born an Army brat at the West Point Military Academy hospital and was raised in various cities across the United States where he was exposed to the diversities of both people and nature. Paul's nomadic childhood allowed him to explore the creative and technical process of photography which are a major portion of Paul's growth and life.

After studying at Brooks Institute of Photography Paul spent most of his career in the printing industry learning and managing tone reproduction on high speed web offset presses.

Paul's work has been exhibited throughout the country, including the South East Center for Photography, Center for Photographic Art in Carmel, Davis Orton Gallery,
