Pavel Trnka

Lives and works in Pilsen and Prague. He graduated at the Institute of Art and Design, University of West Bohemia, Pilsen in 2009. Also graduated at Faculty of Education at the UWB. Since his studies at the IoAaD in prof. Boris Jirků’s Studio, he focuses on figural drawing. Painting is in the center of his interest except of drawing, illustration and graphics over the last years. From 2008, he has been assistant professor of drawing and painting at Ladislav Sutnar Faculty of Design and Art UWB in Pilsen where he teaches figural drawing, painting and illustration. In 2012, he founded the comics, illustration and drawing magazine: Caves to highlight the quality work of Czech and European authors.
