Pelin Öztunçman

When Pelin was 12 years old her first oil painting was Edvard Munch’s “scream” replica. Since that day, she expresses her inner “scream” through her work.
Her work focuses on various concepts extracted from her personal experiences, such as love, loss, relationships, harmony and chaos.
Born and raised in Istanbul, she describes her perspective as being inspired from the city’s beauty, uniqueness and multiculturalism.
She studied fashion design for two years at Istasyon Art Academy in Macka, İstanbul.
Through her paintings, she is actively discovering herself and the world around her.
