Ben Rosecrans

I was born in 1975 in Vancouver, Washington but spent most my childhood in Illinois. I am an artist currently living and working in Connecticut. Through my education and experiences I have developed a body of work that is centered on the points of intersection between drawing, architecture, sculpture and the relationship between time and space. My M.F.A. in Painting is from the University of Wisconsin in Madison. Prior to that I received my B.F.A. in Painting from Northern Illinois University. I have been a college professor since 2010. Throughout my teaching career I have taught Drawing I & II, 2D Design, Color Theory, 3D Design, Sculpture, & various Art Histories. I am actively participating in group and solo exhibitions throughout the world.
