Petra Teršlová is a painter and lawyer based in Kladno, Czech Republic. Her artistic practice was refined at The Art Academy in London under the mentorship of prominent figures such as Tai-Shan Schierenberg and Carl Randall. Her work is represented in international private collections, including the prestigious King’s Art Collection.
Teršlová transforms ordinary, overlooked motifs into evocative scenes rich with symbolism and atmosphere. Her paintings serve as a psychogeographic record, exploring the existential relationship between individuals and their environment. Blending personal memory with broader cultural history, her work captures moments frozen in time that resonate with a deep psychological dimension.
In 2026, she achieved significant recognition with her project "12 Witnesses of the Holocaust," a cycle of portraits based on personal encounters with survivors. The series was presented at the Senate of the Parliament of the Czech Republic, marking a profound humanistic expansion of her artistic portfolio.
