Pez Pearson

I was born and grew up in the North of England in a working class family.
My first adventure into art was painting leather jackets for bikers. I still love painting on leather and wearable art.

The style in my realistic work is inspired by twentieth century comic artists like Burne Hogarth. I love the challenge of portraying different light and texture in comic format.

Dance has been a huge influence on my Adult life, with Argentine Tango providing a limitless muse for my most recent art.

My current project is an exploration on the decorative art used on 19th century Bandonéons, as well as further experiments with dynamic light and shade.
