I am so into Oil painting in recent years and never stop painting since then. It becomes a new important part of my life especially during the Covid-19 time as everyone is having more time to calm down from the earlier occupied daily routine.

Painting to me is the way to capture emotions of my life. I use strokes and colors to record my momentous feelings into the paintings. They are now my lifetime memories to remind me of the reasons why I made my artworks. Some of them are colorful and bold, when I was excited, some are dull and empty when I felt lonely and meaningless, some are passionate when I’m in love, and some are quiet when I gained my inner peace. I would leave all for you to explore them.

I have been staying with the limited palette of 4 color tubes of primary blue, red, yellow and white to create all of my favorite colors since I was an architecture student with little budget. What else could be any better? Perhaps I now appreciate that the situation had given me a meaningful technique to create value of colors and I’m still in experiment for the deeper realm of coloring to get closer to my feeling. Hope that you will be with me when I’m there.
