I learned to draw myself. I quickly realized that it was interesting for me to independently invent drawing and painting techniques, to learn the world of art from my own experience. Originality and handwriting are very important, because otherwise no one will distinguish your paintings from hundreds of others. But it is impossible to get involved in painting and go past the history of art, the basics of design, world heritage. Studying all this, I always remain in my territory of creative freedom.
Contemporary art is of particular importance to me. I think it is very complex, containing a huge legacy. We are at the forefront of history. And everything that happens around, including in the world of art, is gradually woven, like another thread into the carpet of eternity. Artists have the opportunity not to remain silent witnesses of what is happening, but to become its reflection.
Today, abstract painting best conveys reality. It forces our attention to fulfill the focus of creating a subjective impression of the associations that have arisen. Due to this property, abstraction is able to convey much more than a different genre of painting. This is an emotional message, the power of which many feel intuitively.
