I am a full-time 2D artist working mainly in oil, charcoal and pastel. I live in regional Queensland, Australia and my principal subjects are landscape, portraiture and environmental issues.

I usually draw from life with large chunks of charcoal directly on the panel, then add at lest three oil paint glazes to the drawing in the studio over several days.

The rapid drawing captures the immediacy of the subject and the oil glazes are a slow and subtle meditation in the manner of the masters.

Studied under Rod Milgate, Andrew Sibley and Lynne Eastaway.
