Price Davis is Colorado's top magic realism sculpture artist. He grew up in New Jersey, where he found his passion for the arts through his high school shop class teacher, Adam Fern. He then studied at Penn State, followed by moving to Colorado in 1994. He has resided on Larimer Street in Denver for the majority of that time, pioneering the artistic movement in the Upper Larimer neighborhood. Price began his career in furniture design, moved into loft design, and was successful in the commercial real estate industry.
Most recently, Price has devoted his mastery to large scale, corporate sculpture; using many mediums, with the primary being steel. His public sculpture debut was the "Denver Lily" featured in the Denver International Airport in 2015. Since then, he has created a number of sculptures both private and public.
The most recent project includes a recycled Coors Light can sculpture, that can be see in the Coors Field Baseball Stadium. Price Davis believes that a key element appreciating the arts is supporting the artisans and their craft; a mantra he is actively living by maintaining a diverse and expansive art collection, himself.
