About The Artwork

About this project DANCE Part II : https://www.emiliemori.com/dance-2 photographic series on the theme of dance and female movement. Aurelia embodies imaginary muses, combative, expressive, emotional in permanent movement, perfectly choreographed. These dances are a medium, the body speaks, it expresses in turn the discipline, a word, a gesture, a seduction or a joy... - Series of photographs based on movement and blur, made in collaboration with Aurélia. It is inspired by Tanztheater, Pina Bausch, Flamenco and Argentine Tango. -" What makes the dance does not come from the appearance of the body. But from the imaginary and the language. The dancer tries to project his relationship and his vision of the world beyond the limits of his own skin. He tries to project a non-verbal word. From the intimate interior. In the movement of the world. The look of the other. The visible movement, that of the body's limbs, is only the consequence of another, inner movement. The deep physiological movement of the breath, and the movement of the being. Oscillating between the dream and the nightmare of the experience of being human. Dance is a manifestation of the sensitive. The dancer dances what touches him. In the hope that the one who looks at him is touched in his turn. In this superposition of the sensation and the sensitive. From the visible movement towards the invisible movement. In this indissociable of the body and the soul. - About fine art print : The photographs are printed on Hahnemühle Fine Art Baryta 325 g. The limited edition photographs are signed, numbered, and come with a certificate of authenticity. Limited edition of 25 prints. All prints are shipped rolled in a protective hard PVC tube to any country worldwide.

Photographer Emilie Möri reimagines a world in which perfect proportions - employing chromatic colours and stark shadows - brings her subjects’ environments to life. A focus on architectural themes and abstraction allows the images to embody feelings of solitude and isolation. Möri’s Paris-based practice also includes numerous commercial collaborations.
