Born and raised in Minnesota, I was surrounded by the art of my Mom and Uncle, and the exquisite beauty of the lake country there. At 15 I was selling studies and paintings at small town art fairs and at University I won awards for my watercolor paintings. Must admit, I also painted demolition cars, the truck for the local gas station, a hotel sign, and the downstairs of my Moms clothing store. In college, I did a little guerrilla art on the walls of my dorm. Since, been painting every week, showing at local shows and selling. It is a good life. Many murals, too!
