This is my addition to Koon's piece with the Pink Panther. I added the mermaids tail using charcoal pencil to the piece and using magazine photos supplied the audience for the piece.

I'm a creative soul who loves to experiment and try something new. New can be a different medium or a new way of using a familiar medium. I'm still looking to find a particular venue that suits me, but doubt that will happen in my lifetime. Art has always been a passion with me and one, which at times, can consume me. I stayed away from it for 25 years. My art is more visual than technical. Some day I may take classes, but that is about as likely as me settling on one venue for my art. My son says my paintings are about as subtle as getting hit upside the head with a two by four. I can't argue with that. This is especially true about my clergy abuse paintings, but they tell a story that sorely needs to be told. The sad part is they are exhibition pieces that have not seen too much wall space. In addition to drawing and painting, I love outdoor photography especially landscapes and sunsets. The colors are amazing and the beauty of nature is humbling knowing I could never replicate nature.
