Ayrton Senna was a Brazilian Formula One driver, widely regarded as one of the greatest drivers of all time. He was born in São Paulo, Brazil on March 21, 1960 and started his karting career at the age of 13. Senna debuted in Formula 1 in 1984 with the Toleman team, and quickly emerged as a talented and determined driver. He won his first Grand Prix in 1985 with the Lotus team, and in 1988, he won his first world championship with McLaren. Throughout his career, Senna won three world championships, 41 Grand Prix victories and 65 pole positions. He was known for his aggressive and committed riding style, as well as his relentless work ethic and his commitment to perfection. Sadly, Senna's career was tragically cut short on May 1, 1994, when he suffered a fatal accident during the San Marino Grand Prix. His death shocked the motorsport world and left a lasting legacy as one of the greatest drivers of all time.
