I deconstruct and construct. I use various media in my work. I paint, draw, photograph, create objects and collages, print, animate, combine techniques, combine canvases, and compose diptychs and polyptychs. An essential element of my work is color. In 2011 I began working on archival art prints (giclée prints). I compose photographic collages from my photographs and print them in large formats. While traveling, I accumulated an extensive archive of pictures. Working with photography has inspired me to create digital works, graphics, and animations. In 2021 I started a new series of digital images. The idea arose to develop NFT based on them. I now create digital works and animations, often based on my older paintings, drawings, and photographic works. I transform them until they become digital impressions. I am open to learning new media and interested in implementing modern techniques to my artistic needs. I study the world of NFT carefully, weighing all the pros and cons. The first idea was to create and print digital images. I use the highest quality archival papers. Most often, I use Hahnemuehle Photo Rag and Somerset papers. For paper, I greatly respect and admire its beauty and diversity, and what it is made of amazes me. It is an essential material for me. I use paper for prints and drawings, ink, watercolor, tempera, and others. I search for the most beautiful and best pieces. Some are so beautiful that I hesitate to add anything else to them because the texture and exquisite shade of white is sometimes a work of art. I also like to use wrapping paper and used cardboard. Of course, this is already a completely different idea. However, it often gives unexpected results and refers to ecological trends. Traveling in Asia, especially Japan and China, my admiration for paper and ink has developed, and I am happy to have admired the painting and art of calligraphy there. Some of my essential working tools come from Asia - brushes, inks, stamps, and ink stones. It has become my habit; I visit artists' stores and look for domestically produced materials when traveling. I often move between techniques, mixing them. I work in cycles, often returning to a process after years.
