I am also a sister, daughter, wife and stepmother trying to come to terms with and heal from one of the most difficult and painful years of my life, 2024, when I took care of my younger brother Richie as he battled colorectal cancer, staying with him 24/7 while he was in the hospital, hospice and so on, until the end.
