About The Artwork

"Eleanor used to collect balloons, but they kept popping or deflating and unexpectedly breaking her heart, so she decided to collect tigers instead, so far so good." This painting is an ink and watercolor portrait on paper, it features a rather glamorous female kudu, wearing a 7o's Yves St Laurent emerald fur coat and leaf print silk jumpsuit, flanked by her two pet tigers. The silliness is fairly evident, considering the expected relationship between buck and tigers. She has a human body and a lovely, regal, kudu head. Big dark eyes peer out of a softly-furred, brown face, gazing directly at the viewer. A gently curling pair of horns emerge from her head. One of her tigers looks away while the other turns his baleful green gaze on the viewer. The piece is painted on paper and will ship rolled in a tube. This particular piece has some wee swimmer doodles on the back of the page but they have no effect at all on the painting.
