Karolina Pidkova Born in 2003 in Ukraine, Karolina Pidkova is an emerging artist known for her emotive and unique works that bridge her Polish and Ukrainian heritage. Currently pursuing her education at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw (2022–present) within the Fine Art Department, she previously honed her craft at the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture in Kyiv (2020–2022). Her foundational artistic training took place at the esteemed State Art School named after Taras Grigoryovych Shevchenko in Kyiv, where she studied from 2014 to 2020. Karolina’s art primarily employs techniques in oil on the finest canvas, watercolor, and gouache. She views her creative process as a profound means of personal expression, channeling her innermost feelings and emotions through her art. As she explains, “Art for me is an expression of my own feelings and emotions through my favorite images.
