Verónica Chauvet (1961), born in Mexico City, lives and works in Metepec. She is a contemporary artist who began as a realist and has gradually transitioned to abstract painting, specializing in acrylics and mixed media. Her artwork is characterized by a bold use of color that creates an immediate visual impact. Her themes revolve around nature and emotions, serving as a source for discovering qualities of grace, beauty, and strength within ourselves. Her inspiration comes from photographs she takes while walking near her home, in parks, botanical gardens, and during her travels. Her artwork is part of private collections in Mexico and the United States.
