ABOUT THE ARTWORK
I am a U.S. based portrait artist. This portrait is drawn by me, Crystal Ortiz, inspired by sculpture "Mercury and Psyche" by Reinhold Begas, 1878. "Mercury vs. Psyche" measures 14 in. x 17 in. (27.94 x 35.56 cm). It is a 2022 piece by me hand-drawn with graphite pencils and charcoal powder on archival paper. I use quality archival materials in my portraits (The work is intended to last centuries). The piece is framed for show as it is sold unframed.
