Hector Ponce de Leon, is a multidisciplinary artist, draftsman, painter, illustrator, designer and photographer. He studied at the School of Painting and Sculpture La Esmeralda where he was considered one of the top students. He received his Masters of Arts at the School of Design of the National Institute of Fine Arts where he graduated with honors. Ponce de Leon further studied as a postgraduate student at the Academy of Fine Arts of Warsaw, Poland. Ponce de Leon has worked as an art director of publishing, graphical designer, illustrative designer and photographer for diverse newspapers, magazines and publishing companies in Poland, Italy and Mexico. He has exhibited extensively and showed his work in individual and collective exhibitions in Mexico and Poland. He is currently a tenure track Assistant Professor of Multimedia at the Faculty of Arts at the Autónomus University of the State of Morelos, Mexico.
