About The Artwork
Redrawing this scene at home in my studio I choose to use tropical playful colours to symbolise joy and adventure. In reality it was a cold and greyish day when I drew this scene initially outside! The wood helps give a layer of texture and soaks up the bright colours so they become more muted.
