I was born in Japan and raised with diverse cultural influences being a Military child that traveled the world. I received a Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts from Georgia College and State University, and my artistic journey has been enriched by both formal education and personal experiences. While Pop Art and Sequential Art are distinct forms, there can be some overlap between the two. My artwork may incorporate elements of Pop Art within their sequential art, using the bold and vibrant style to enhance the visual impact of their storytelling. Additionally, both forms often engage with popular culture and have the potential to comment on social and cultural issues. Overall, Pop Art and Sequential Art are fascinating art forms that have made significant contributions to my style in creating artwork. I teach fine Arts in Georgia for the last 25 years in public/private schools, this has had a tremendous influence on my artwork as well.
