Born in 1939, I am a Self-taught artist, with natural gifts for drawing and painting, predisposed to knowledge and research, as well as experiments in the study of art. Retired former executive from a building construction company, associated with the participation and development of numerous projects in architecture and urban planning studies. Registered at the University for the preparation of the degree in sociology (human sciences). With an independent and non-conformist spirit, constantly inviting me to get out of the ordinary and to carry out innovative artistic research, imbued with sensitivities and imagination towards a new language of rationality. Guided by the creative process, also by reflections configured to a constructivism in the abstract, geometry and calligraphy. Attracted by Indian ink, pen, oil, acrylic, and various materials, through drawing and its language. A spirit of research and creation out of the ordinary is specified through my works with rigor and strength of form and line, all distinct from each other, combine, intertwine, in movement in a space structured, flexible, proposing a personification, in the purity of the line. In the same order, the symbolism highlighted manifests a universe of spontaneity, a rhythm of freedom with gestural effects, a multitude of representations and memorial signs, whose ultimate goal is to impose a creative authenticity. The use of Indian ink directs me towards duality and contrast between black and white. Thus, my works are expressed for the most part through the opposition of black to white, the latter color being perceived as the symbol of purity. However, black remains in reality the only source of light and its emergence. I had the opportunity to participate in several exhibitions, particularly in universities, art and culture houses. My works of art are widely present on most specialized art sites and on the various social networks. Artistically Yours, A.LALMI
