Roman Gonzalez is an Idaho native. He now lives in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He works in pastels, watercolor, graphite, and charcoal. He leans towards realism, but is attempting to allow himself to do abstract as well. During his time in Spain. Roman had the pleasure of meeting one of southern Spain's celebrated artist, Julio "July" Fernandez Ceballos. He rendered a one-of-a-kind pastel portrait of Roman when he lived in Chipona, Spain. Roman was asked to apprentice for Ceballos, but family pressures prevented him from taking on the apprenticeship. Roman will return to school next semester. He will pursue Art Education. Afterwards, he will transfer to Colorado Springs University to pursue Museum Studies. He loves hiking the Garden of the God's along the Rocky Mountains. He has two teenagers (boy and girl). They live in Oregon.
