I went to art school in New York City (Cooper Union and the Art Student's League) for not too long a while. After leaving school I stayed and worked in NYC for seventeen years Then I moved to Vermont with my painter wife Marjorie Kramer. I never broke contact with NYC. Although my studies may sometimes get fairly abstract I should be thought of as a figurative or representational painter and sculptor. I have been so since I was 19 and I am 70 now.
