She likes to use more eco-friendly but durable packaging for shipping. When she creates new projects and paints, she prefers to use lighter materials (paper and carboard) and a small size format, since the packaging carbon footprint is much smaller during its transportation. Depth is first created in her backgrounds, then brought forward by varied layers of painting techniques as Marie incorporates mostly gouache and poster colors into her works. Marie's major themes are passion to nature, the virginity of nature, life, feelings and relationships, memories from childhood, and impactful moments and events from her life.
