As a third-generation Californian, I am drawn to the golden light, ocean waves, and flora which are here in abundance. I love to create layered images with texture, pattern, organic shapes, and detailed botanical studies. Based in So Cal, I love to create surface pattern design, and art inspired by nature's textures and human gestures. Influenced by vintage fabrics from 20th century, Japanese textiles, world art history, beach culture, Disneyland, trips to Turkey, France, and Italy. I have to garden no matter what, and be near bodies of water. I am in a state of constant amazement of the design, function, and patterns in nature.
