EN Just as cave art was born from the observation of the environment and often rich in relevant details, Cédric LENEUTRE adopts a similar approach in understanding and representing his era: observing and evolving factual principles into a fresh perspective. He creates a link between the Upper Paleolithic and our contemporary era to allow the continuation of prehistoric history where it left off. This can be seen as a sign that humans have always been programmed for creation. Far from wrapping everything in adjectives and risking being confined to the realm of illustration, his visual representations can step out of their narrative context to belong to their own conceptual domain and function independently.
