I create a series works of print on canvas and painting by various concepts. The famous Czech curator Lenka Lindauerová wrote: Antonin Kopp is a co-founder of the prominent art group Pode Bal, focused on political creation. Kopp graduated from the Academy of Applied Arts in Prague and also devotes himself to his own painting work, creating designs for entire interiors. His paintings often focus on social themes and the development of art in history: in his paintings he uses elements characteristic of world-famous classics, paraphrases other works or directly appropriates them. On the other hand, he treats them as a kind of historical ornament, on which he demonstrates the power of emptied aesthetics. He plays freely with the abstraction of Barnett Newman, Mark Rothko and Piet Mondrian and adds barcodes to their paintings. He approaches the history of art with humor. His paintings prove that if there is anything left of them for the future, it is only their simple beauty.
