I spent most of my tour outside the wire in the province of Kandahar and photographed many of the places I stayed while there. During my time in Afghanistan I worked with 171st Calvary B Troop, and spent my spare time drawing comics and other pictures for the American Troops that I had the privilege to work with. Since my return to Canada I have taken many of my experiences from Afghanistan and transferred them to art pieces. Using modern technology and artistic skill I produces images of military training and garrison life in Kingston, Ontario, Canada. I studied fine art at the Ontario College of Art in Toronto Ontario for four years under practicing Canadian Artists. I graduated from OCA in 1993 with a double major in drawing and painting. After college I studied graphic arts and animation in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. .
