☻My creations are shaped by a wide range of means and tools -with few limits- according to the requirement and adaptability of each work: Acrylic Paintings (mopping, dilution, pouring, and Oil ('' impasto'', “frottage”, “Glazing” and “scrumbling” / Encaustic painting / Temple grassa / Chiaroscuro / Innovative abstract mixed technique / Cross pattern // Digital graphic art (stylus and digital brushes, achieving effects impossible with traditional media) - Algorithmic art on canvas. Certain museum-quality prints are hand-finished with an acrylic finish, gouache, a combination of texture and chromatic composition with the application of gels, pastes, water-based wax, gesso, ecological inks; dimensional-3D paint (Puffy paint); metallic paints; enamels, pigments embedded with texturing media; glossy and medium matte, with transparent and varnished UV coating. On some occasions the overpainted printed material has been digitized and electronically reworked and the result is an amalgam of several layers where figures and background seem to mutate and amicably interchange the physical painting and its digital counterpart.* Some pieces are ready to hang and others are sent unstretched Canvas or quality Giclée / Fine Art Paper (Permajet Portrait White) rolled in tube. * All works are Signed and come with Certificate of Authenticity * (Only the originals of some works on request can be made in a smaller size) ♦In my humble concept, true Art comes from within ... and not from other places. With some frequency it is essential to reach the ABSTRACTION of this world that we call "Reality" in order to cope with it and digest it. (At least, for our mental and emotional health, it is good to abstract from linear thinking and the experience of the materiality that surrounds us, as much as possible). In the art universe it is sometimes necessary to deconstruct the 'real' scene and then reconstruct a new, unique and non-transferable internal painting language. Abstractions sometimes cannot be understood but at the same time they mobilize emotions due to their singular, rebellious and capricious appearance. Perhaps it only reflects what probably cannot be said or defined, in a perception alien to material reality, although abundant in formal and dimensional possibilities configuring a spatial and temporal vagueness. Most of my works tend to be very expressive, atmospheric, opening and closing different mood spaces. Capturing the strength of the chromatic sound, it is necessary to develop a very fine intuition, to enter the labyrinth of images, forms and concepts, soothing the restlessness and confusion of the creative path, in a continuous exploration of color, form and its flexibilities. In the process of abstraction, simple, archetypal scenes begin to emerge, which are mutating until they become complex, abstract images, secret landscapes, which assume their own identity. In these mental landscapes, the figurative is inexorably diluted, until the invisible essence is enhanced. Anyway, in the underlying energy of my works everything is allowed, the abstraction together with the figuration are associated to build a new reality; nothing seems to be restricted, everything seems to spread, like an irrepressible burst of emotions. The compositions, at first whimsical and deliberate, hide a layered metamorphosis. Gestural language and calculated movement coexist by mutual agreement. There is a conflict between the imagined, the planned and the spontaneous, accepting the course and the inaccuracy as vital and inherent parts of each work. In fact, everything is there leaving itself present, like polyphonic games of enunciations that perhaps are only passing through us. And we can and must only let them pass. The 'skin' of the paintings is seen, touched, smelled, but never its matrix. Perhaps there is no mold, but always transmissions, spillage and influxes. Making art means carving and creating in the face of uncertainty; live with doubts and contradictions. Doing what you want means putting these ambiguities aside so that you can see clearly where to go next. Doing the work you want to do means finding nutrients within the process itself.
