Hamdi Telli
Turkey
Was born in Ankara in 1956. Completed primary and secondary education in Ankara. He began to deal with Photography as an art in 1970's. He got his first prize in 1974, at the photography contest organized by the Ministry of Culture that the topic was "Türkiye". He graduated the Department of International Relations of Ankara University Faculty of Political Sciences in 1981. After graduation, he started his business career as marketing specialist in Koç Group of Companies. He worked Digital Art and Photography in addition to his bussiness career in his own studio. He gave lectures on Digital Art at Fine Arts Faculty of Mimar Sinan University between 1987-1989 as for the first time in Turkey. He gave courses on Photography and Digital Art for several state and private institutions. Today, Hamdi Telli continues his work in his studio in Ankara on Digital Art and Photography.
