I start a painting with marks and lines and let time/gut notions/colors fill the spaces...until an image appears that appeals to my other self. I paint intuitively as not being schooled in art and poor in realistic representation of life.....expressionism and abstract become an easier path for delineating my other self. In 2021, I started to use digital painting as a new medium as a digression from traditional materials.
